Scot Labin, CFA
Chief Investment Officer
Before joining Westbourne, Scot served as Co-Chief Investment Officer of
the Bay Bridge TMT Value Fund. Prior to that Scot worked at Legg Mason
Capital Management from 1999-2006 and was a generalist for multiple
industries, including retail, supermarkets, IT services, brokerages, and
technology. From 2001-2006, he served as telecommunications analyst with
coverage of $5.5 billion in assets under management for mutual
funds Legg Mason Value Trust, Special Investment Trust, and Opportunity
Trust.
From 1996-1999, Scot was a Financial Analyst with Legg Mason Inc. in the
Financial Administration department.
From 1989-1996, Scot was a Senior Engineer at Newport News Shipbuilding,
where he performed technical and quantitative analyses of nuclear power
plant systems of the CVN68 Class aircraft carriers. Scot received a BS in
Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1989, and a MBA with honors
from the College of William and Mary in 1996. Scot was awarded the
Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2000 and is a member of the CFA
Society of Washington DC.
Joe Wilkinson
Vice President - Managing Director
Prior to joining Westbourne, Joe spent over 25 years in corporate finance
roles, including as the head of investor relations at several prominent
public companies including CSX Corporation, Nextel Communications, XM
Satellite Radio, Iridium, Deltek and Millennial Media. In these roles, Joe acted
as the main liaison between Wall Street investors, analysts, and company
management.
He began his career in public accounting, earning a CPA and spending two
years at the accounting firm Arthur Andersen as an auditor. He became a
manager in audit advisory services at CSX Corporation, a multi-national
transportation conglomerate, and was eventually recruited into corporate
finance and various public company investor relations roles noted above.
Joe earned a B.S. in Accounting from University of Maryland, College Park and
an M.B.A. from Sellinger School of Management at Loyola University Maryland
Bruce Kromminga
Chief Operating Officer
Before joining Westbourne, Bruce served as Chief Operating Officer of Bay
Bridge Capital Management. Bruce was employed as a securities broker with
Deutsche Banc Alex Brown Employee Brokerage Services from 1998-2002.
Bruce served both local and international DBAB employees with transactions
in equities, bonds, options, mutual funds, and foreign currencies. Prior to
becoming a Series 7 licensed securities broker in 1998, Bruce worked as a
registered sales assistant in Alex Brown’s High Net Worth brokerage group
beginning in 1995. From 2002 until his joining Bay Bridge Capital
Management, Bruce analyzed publicly traded companies for the purpose of
investment.
Bruce received a Master of Science in Finance from Loyola College in
Maryland in 1998 and a BS in Business Administration with minors in
Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from the University of Denver in 1994.
Jon Levin, CPA
Investment Advisor
Jon serves as a Certified Public Accountant in his role at Levin &
Company and a Registered Investment Advisor with Westbourne. His
experience includes working in the private sector for both start-up and
Fortune 500 companies before taking a position with one of the big 8
accounting firms. In 1986, he joined his father at Allentown-based Levin &
Company. In this role, Jon serves individuals and privately-held
companies by providing accounting, tax, and payroll.
Jon is a knowledgeable and experienced accountant and business owner
with an easy-going and relaxed style. His philosophy is to do whatever it
takes to provide you with the financial information you need while
providing unparalleled customer service and peace of mind.
Jon received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Penn State
University.
David Cunningham
Founder
Before founding Westbourne, David was a Senior Portfolio Manager and Vice
President at Foxhall Capital Management (formerly Nye, Parnell & Emerson)
for 11 years. He also served for five years as Vice President and Chief
Investment Officer at Potomac Asset Management. David began his
investment management career as a financial advisor in Washington DC with
Hornblower and Weeks, and later served as Trust Investment Officer at
American Security Bank. where he was promoted to Trust Investment Officer
prior to joining Thomson McKinnon Securities Investment Advisory Division
where he served as a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager.
David graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in history.
